Accessibility Statement

Effective September 16, 2026.

Our aim

We want everyone to be able to read the prices, learn how the cattle are raised, and place an order. This site is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA as its target.

What the site does

  • Semantic headings and landmarks on every page, with a skip-to-content link.
  • Text contrast at or above the AA threshold, on light and dark grounds alike.
  • Every interactive element reachable and usable by keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
  • Alt text on photographs that describes what is actually in the frame, and a text description on every cut map drawing.
  • Motion respects your reduced-motion system setting: background video stands still and reveal animations are removed. Videos also have a pause button.
  • An accessibility panel on every page (the round button in the corner, or "Accessibility options" in the menu on phones) with larger text, high contrast, underlined links, readable spacing, and pause motion. Choices are remembered on your device.

Known limitations

  • The map on the contact page is Google's embedded interface, which we do not control. The address is always provided as text beside it.
  • The short films of the herd are silent and carry no information that is not also in the surrounding text.
  • Ordering happens over text message or phone. If neither works for you, tell us and we will find a way that does.

Tell us about a barrier

If anything on this site is hard to use, text or call (302) 598-1452 and we will fix what we can and work around what we cannot.
